FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to weight measurement equipment and may be used to weigh wagons on railway transport. Method includes weighing of moving wagon separately at the right and left sides with subsequent summation and detection of wagon gross weight, and also difference of wagon side's load, using which it is decided whether it is necessary to disconnect the wagon from train in case it exceeds permissible difference of load. Weight of load is determined by subtraction of net weight from gross weight for each wagon and its comparison to permissible load bearing capacity of a wagon, and in case it exceeds the reference value, it is decided whether it is necessary to disconnect this wagon from train. At the same time side displacement of centre of gravity is determined in a separate wagon relative to central vertical axis with account of average distance between areas of contacts of wheels of each axle of wagon with scale rails. Then its value is compared to permissible norm of displacement, and in case it exceeds the norm, it is decided whether it is necessary to disconnect this wagon from train. Device comprises two longitudinal beams mounted in pit with rails, strain sensors connected via converter of signals to registering device. Longitudinal beams are hingedly joined to each other and are made of separate sections of box-like section. In one longitudinal beam in each section there are two gussets rigidly fixed on internal side wall, equipped with bearings at the ends, and longitudinal slots are arranged on its inner side wall. Axes of hinged joints for specified beams are installed in according bearings of their sections and are fixed in support units. One rail is fixed on upper shelf of each longitudinal beam, and two strain sensors are provided under lower shelf coaxially to longitudinal axis of rail.
EFFECT: expansion of wagon scales application field.
