FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering and design of controlled electric machine frequency converters used in controlled electric drives with AC machines. Converter comprises two AC machines with magnetic conductors on stators and rotors, with windings of anchors and inductors, and also unit of control and adjustment. Machine rotors are placed onto common shaft. Converter includes additional magnetic conductors on stator and rotor arranged of separate charged circular packets. AC toroidal windings are arranged between adjacent packets. Anchor winding of the first machine is installed on rotor and is joined to winding of rotor of additional magnetic conductor. Windings of anchors and inductors of both machines are arranged for AC. Their rotor windings are connected to each other with reverse phase sequence and are connected to windings of rotor of additional magnetic conductor. Winding of inductor of the second machine is located on stator and is connected to angle of control and adjustment. Output terminals of converter are connected to stator winding of the first machine, and input terminals are installed on toroidal winding of stator of additional magnetic conductor.
EFFECT: simplified design by elimination of sliding contacts.
