FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device for electric power transformation includes converter (1) to rectify AC power, set of serially connected capacitors (2A) and (2B), connected to DC side of converter, inverter (3), by means of installation of one end of set of serially joined capacitors to a high potential level, other end of set - at low potential level, and point of connection between capacitors - to medium potential level, selection of any of levels and lead of three-phase AC current, unit (4) of inverter control to control inverter (3), and device (8) to measure voltage Vdc on capacitor as voltage between both ends of serially joined set of capacitors (2A) and (2B); at the same time unit (4) of inverter control additionally includes unit (21) of control of pulsations reduction to control coefficient of modulation in response to voltage Vdc on capacitor, and unit (22) of frequency stabilisation to stabilise by value of command of AC voltage frequency produced from inverter (3).

EFFECT: increased efficiency of device.
