FIELD: package and storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to insert 10, intended for installation in opening 38 of container 36, comprising through hole 12 with an internal thread, made to receive a plug with a complementary external thread for a fluid-tight container seal, an end with rounded or tapered rim 18, which provides a guide surface for inserting the insert through the pressure container opening, and shoulder 22 facing back. Insert is preferably made of a polymer material and comprises outer annular groove 16 having a portion that serves to receive sealing element 48, wherein the insert is designed so that the compression of rim 18 deforms the portion of groove 16, serving to receive the sealing element, thereby opening the space between the portion and the opening of the container until rear facing shoulder 22 holds the insert with a snap in the opening of the container. Hole preferably comprises a standing rim 40, snap-fit in groove 16 for the preferred installation, compression and activation of sealing element 48.

EFFECT: press-fit flange container closure system is proposed.
