FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing organic high-molecular weight compounds, methods of producing block copolymers of propylene and ethylene used in making different articles for structural purposes through extrusion and casting. Described is a method of producing a block copolymer of propylene and ethylene, where in a secondary reactor filled with a polypropylene suspension from the primary reactor, concentration of propylene [M3], defined by the expression [M3]=a·[PP], where [PP] is concentration of polypropylene in the suspension, coefficient a>0.1. Ethylene in the secondary reactor is fed in at least two steps, where at the first step, the amount m1 and flow rate q1 are defined by the expression m1=b1·mp and q1=c1·m1, where mp is the mass of propylene in the secondary reactor before feeding ethylene. Coefficients b1 and c1 are equal to 0.3 and 0.08, respectively. At the second step, the amount m2 and flow rate of ethylene q2 are defined by the expressions m2=b2·m1 and q2=c2·q1. Coefficients b2 and c2 assume values (2-2.5) and (0.6-0.8), respectively.
EFFECT: improvement and stabilisation of quality factors of block copolymers of propylene and ethylene during fluctuation of quality factors of batches of industrial raw materials: catalyst, solvent, monomers etc.
