FIELD: catalysts, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to highly effective metal-chelate catalytic systems used in the (co)-polymerization reaction of alpha-olefins and coupled dienes. Invention describes a method for synthesis of titanium-magnesium catalyst used in the (co)-polymerization reaction that involves interaction of magnesium with n-butyl chloride and titanium tetrachloride. Method involves interaction of magnesium with titanium tetrachloride in the presence of n-butyl chloride at temperature 60-100°C, in the volume ratio titanium tetrachloride : n-butyl chloride = 1:(53-80) and in the content of magnesium 3.5-5.5 g per 1 ml of titanium tetrachloride. Also, invention describes titanium-magnesium catalyst used in the (co)-polymerization reaction of alpha-olefins and coupled dienes and representing titanium trichloride co-crystallized with magnesium dichloride.
