FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device consists of case 1 with inlet 7 and outlet 8 orifices forming chamber 9. Catalyst reactor 10 and filter 11 of disperse particles are installed in cartridges 12, 13 of chamber 9. Between cartridges 12, 13 there is installed ring 14 with a flange and a packing element; the ring is inserted into cartridge 13 and welded to cartridge 12. Another ring 18 with packing element projecting from cartridge 13 and made in form of a ferrule is installed in the cartridge 13 from the side of orifice 8. Cartridge 13 is connected with circular perforated part 20 made in form of a bowl attached to the wall of the case. The end of the bowl is in the same plane with the end of ring 18. The cartridge 12 is connected with props 22 laid on the wall of the case. The disclosed here simple and reliable device ensures optimal conditions for effective reduction of concentration of harmful substances in exhaust gas of engine.
