FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine includes at least one cylinder with piston arranged in it, which is kinematically connected to crankshaft, cylinder head with inlet and outlet valves installed in it, combustion chamber at the piston bottom, which is made in the form of groove from rotation body the axis of which coincides with cylinder axis or located near it, swirl blades in the form of end protrusions with tangential channels which are located around combustion chamber at the piston bottom and are adjacent to the groove on the cylinder head at the piston location at upper dead point, the valves of which are located on grooves in the cylinder head, the depth of which corresponds to the groove depth of cylinder head and height of edge protrusions at the piston bottom, ignition source-atomiser installed in the groove of cylinder head; at that, combustion chamber and end protrusions at the piston bottom are made from cast iron or steel with low heat conductivity and cast to or fixed at the piston bottom from aluminium alloy; according to invention the combustion chamber is also equipped with flat part throughout the surface of piston bottom and circular protrusion on outer surface of the chamber bottom; cross section of circular protrusion is made in the form of dovetail. Circular protrusion consists of two parts or halves.
EFFECT: higher engine efficiency.
