SUBSTANCE: device has one carrier substrate, having an electro-active layer or a pack of electro-active layers lying between the so-called "bottom" electrode and the so-called "top" electrode. One of the electrodes has at least four layers, including at least one metallic functional layer with intrinsic properties of electrical conductivity, where the said functional layer is joined to an electrochemical barrier layer made from electroconductive material which is transparent in the visible range. Said electrochemical barrier layer is joined to a moisture-protective layer made from electroconductive material which is transparent in the visible range, and said functional layer is joined to a first sublayer made from electroconductive material which is transparent in the visible range.
