FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Described is wound bandage, which can be used for treatment of wounds with voluminous discharge in conditions of war and peace time. Wound bandage is made in form of cushion, includes layer of permeable material, which is in contact with wound surface, adjoining it sorption layer, as well as one and more upper protective layers. Sorption layer is made of graphite particles, which represent extended form of intercalated compound of fluorinated graphite. Graphite particles are formed from fluorinated graphite, intercalated with iodine fluorides, permeable material representing deashed filter paper. Wound bandage with high adsorption capacity, which allows to evacuate wound discharge in efficient way for a long up to several days) term - ensuring only "vertical drainage" without penetration on skin in order to exclude maceration, and is capable to fix wound discharge in sorption layer for a long time.
EFFECT: wound bandage ensures its application on surface of any shape, various area and various localisation; creates favourable conditions of wound process course; is air- and vapour-permeable, is atraumatic.
