Intercalated compound of fluorinated graphite weighing not less than 10 g is heated to 60÷250 °C and decomposed thermally in a cavity of a process volume with ratio V/M = 0.025÷0.25 where V is size of cavity of process volume, dm3, M is mass of intercalated compounds of fluorinated graphite, g.
EFFECT: method of producing briquetted porous carbon material based on highly split graphite is environmentally safe, there are no emissions of harmful and toxic substances.
