FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to surface hardening devices. Proposed tool comprises disk-like body with central bore and flat springs radially secured all along its edges to support deforming indentors. The latter are arranged on the ends of flat springs to strike onto surface being machined to make Ihole-wide hole. Note that indenter is fitted on each nest flat spring shifted in longitudinal direction by 0.75·Ihole. Flat springs are made with shoulders to them to be rigidly secured, by compensation bar, on the case with the help of face plates fitted on each face of the case. Flat springs part fixed in the case feature wedge-like shape and are oriented on case peripheral surface in lengthwise direction.
EFFECT: expanded process performances, higher efficiency.
