FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rod (tubular) space structures made up telescoping flexible transformable elements (TFCR). The latter comprise spring tape 1 with parallel edges 6, 7 coiled, in transport position of the element, onto reel 2. One edge of flat tape is regularly perforated 3 while opposite edge has T-like tabs (not shown), each with crosspiece and foot. TFCR incorporates mandrels 15 and 16 for producing tubular section to allow said tabs to be applied onto perforations 3 on unwinding tape 1 from reel 2. Tape 1 is drawn though mandrels is performed by toothed roller 22. Roller teeth embed tab crosspieces into perforations 3 to produce lock joint of tape edges. To wind TCFR, there is idle roller 32 to push aforesaid crosspieces from perforations 3 on winding spring tape onto reel.
EFFECT: reliable TFCS drive, sufficient stiffness in unwound position.
