FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: polymer sleeper is arranged in the form of spatial cellular honeycomb structure. Polymer material may be glass-fibre plastic with binder in the form of thermosetting synthetic resin. Area of each cell equals 9-16 cm2. Ledges arranged in zone of underrail parts and/or in the middle part of sleeper may be provided at lateral sides of sleeper. Upper surface of ledge is continuation of upper surface of sleeper. Or upper surface of ledge is located below upper surface of sleeper. Lower surface of ledge is located below support surface of sleeper. Ledges are connected to each other via sleeper base with the help of link.

EFFECT: development of structurally and technologically simple sleeper, having low material intensity, high accuracy of geometric parametres, high resistance to longitudinal and transverse displacements in operation and required indices of strength, wear resistance, elasticity and dielectric property.
