FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medical equipment, namely, to methods of obtaining oxide coatings on metal implants for traumatology and orthopedics. Obtaining of coating on metal transosteal implants from stainless steel (12X18H9T, 12X18H10T) is realised by their oxidation in the air at temperature 300-600°C, 0.3-1.0 h duration and atmospheric pressure of environment with further gradual cooling of processed products in furnace to temperature of the environment (20-30°C).
EFFECT: method allows to simplify technological process of formation of oxide coating with biocompatibility properties.
