FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a repair adhesive composition for filling cracks under high humidity conditions. The repair adhesive composition contains epoxy resin or a mixture of epoxy resins, dibutylphthalate, polydiene urethane epoxide and a process additive, aerosil A380, filler and an amine hardener. The process additive consists of a synthetic fat-like compound and/or oligomer. The synthetic fat-like compound is selected from a group comprising solid oil and lanolin. The oligomer is selected from a group comprising polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, glycidyl ether or mixture thereof. The repair adhesive composition is used to repair concrete and reinforced concrete structures, including hydroelectric dams, memorial complexes, and as anticorrosion and cavitation-resistant coating for surfaces exposed to moisture, particularly spillway structures, as well. The repair adhesive composition is also used for gluing pieces when making articles with irregular shapes and for making decorative facing tiles.
EFFECT: use of the repair adhesive composition ensures watertightness in nuclear waste storages.
