FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: there is specified value of power (P1) and future target moment of time (t1) whereat turbo-unit will have specified value of power (P1). By means of the specified value of power (P1) and the target moment of time (t1) there is determined a power curve. Also, the turbo-unit is operated on base of actual power (P0) in real time (t0) along the power curve so, that specified value of power (P1) is achieved at specified target moment of time (t1). The invention refers to the device for increasing operational flexibility of the installation with the turbo-unit generating current, consisting of a turbine and an electric generator connected with the turbine. The generator has a unit for input of the specified value of power (P1) and a unit for input of the target moment of time (t1), and also a unit for readout of actual time (t0). Notably, the units for readout and the units for input are connected with a computer unit. The invention also refers to gas and steam turbines implementing the said procedure and device according to the invention.

EFFECT: increased operational flexibility of current generating installation with turbo-unit.
