FIELD: ecology.

SUBSTANCE: method includes sampling of natural environment components, analysis of samples, processing of analysis data, performed by results of processing of analysis data, assessment of environmental condition in zone of anthropogenic effect of object, background monitoring of object territory executed before start of construction and intended to assess condition of natural environment prior to object functioning, comparison of monitoring data, produced in process of object functioning, with results of background monitoring, and also with established norms of quality of natural environment in the form of maximum permissible concentrations (MPC), besides, monitoring in process of object functioning is carried out in points (areas) of sampling with maximum possible presence of contaminating substances (CS) in object of monitoring - soil, snow cover, water and bottom deposits, at the same time density of sampling system points is determined by specified probability of CS detection in zone of potential effect of object, is maximum near the object and reduces in direction to borders of its potential effect, and frequency of sampling and analysis of samples in each point of sampling is proportionate to quantity of detected changes of CS concentrations.

EFFECT: improved validity and simplified monitoring.
