SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ecology, namely to the assessment of the state of conserved areas of mineral development and their impact on the environment. For this, simultaneously with the monitoring of the conserved section of rock formation, a background monitoring of its natural analogue, which has not experienced any anthropogenic impact, but located in the same natural conditions, is carried out. Obtained monitoring results are compared and a conclusion about the degree of change of the conserved area is made, and after comparing the results of the monitoring with the MPC, the final assessment of the state of the temporarily abandoned site is made, taking into account the environmental norms of the region.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the accuracy of the assessment of the impact of environmental monitoring facilities on the components of the natural environment.
