SUBSTANCE: invention discloses various methods and systems to determine speeds of data transfer along return channel in multi-user communication system. For instance, a device is disclosed to control speed of data transfer of at least the first user equipment in multi-user communication system. Device may contain device of channel assessment, arranged with the possibility to determine estimates of channel for multiple various signals in return channel, in order to receive multiple estimates of channel, demodulation device, arranged with the possibility to determine the first signal/noise ratio for the first user equipment with application of multiple various estimates of channel, and device to determine speed of data transfer, arranged with the possibility to determine the first speed of data transfer in return channel for the first user equipment with application of the first signal/noise ratio.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of information transfer.
