The method for wireless communication in a wireless communication network, having a plurality of mobile terminals configured for V-MIMO communication with a base station involves receiving an uplink reference signal from each of the plurality of mobile terminals; determining, based on the received reference signal, a first reference signal channel estimate for each of the plurality of mobile terminals; determining an estimate based on interference compensation for each of the plurality of mobile terminals using the corresponding first reference signal channel estimate and determining a corresponding second reference signal channel estimate for each of the plurality of mobile terminals based on the corresponding estimate based on interference compensation.
EFFECT: mitigating interference between mobile terminals or base stations, primarily for a virtual multiple-input multiple-output (V-MIMO) system.
