FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and more specifically to ophthalmology, and can be used in extracting new growths of external portions of an eyeball and its auxiliary organs. The eyelid growths are coagulated and excised with a CO2 laser, pulse energy variation 1 to 3 Wt, the laser is tissue-focused for excising a tumour tissue, in solid tumours exceeding 0.5 cm located on eyelid skin requiring laser excision from the periphery at 2 mm from a planned border, and unfocused for evaporation of smaller tumours to 0.5 cm and initially multiple lesions when less intensive tissue destruction is required.
EFFECT: method enables extracting benign eyelid growths of any size and localisation thereby providing the highest functional and cosmetic effect and reducing postoperative complications as much as possible.
