SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Anatomical retinal expansion with silicone oil is performed before endolaser coagulation, at the first stage of surgical intervention. At the second stage of the surgical intervention, before removing the silicone oil from the vitreal cavity, 3 endolaser coagulum is applied at the border of the adjacent retina and at the border with the retina on the retinal pigment epithelium at 6, 3, 9, 12 o'clock of the conventional clock face, as in Fig. 5, with a laser wavelength of 532 nm, power of 200 mV, exposure of 100 ms, with an endolaser coagulate diameter of 300 mcm. After membrane peeling of the epiretinal membrane, prior to the circular endolaser coagulation of the retina, the previously applied laser marks on the borders of the retina and pigment epithelium are compared. That is followed by a circular endolaser coagulation of the retina along the edge of retinotomy in 3 rows; the operation is completed by replacing PFOC with silicone oil, closing the ports and injecting an antibiotic and dexamethasone under the conjunctiva.

EFFECT: method enables improving the functional result of the multistage surgical treatment of the retinal detachment by accurately matching the retina with the choroid to the place of its initial anatomical attachment.
