FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtrate and biogas collection and separation device to be used at solid household waste polygon. Proposed device comprises water collecting pit, tubular feeding drain for horizontal drainage at polygon base, and filtrate and biogas discharge pipelines. Proposed device incorporates additionally an assembly unit to separate gas-water mix arranged at the inlet of tubular feeding drain for horizontal drainage and operated on the principle of hydraulic lock. Separation assembly represent T-joint and is furnished with discharge branch pipes, upper branch pipe to discharge bio gas and lower branch pipe to discharge filtrate with its lower end submerged into fluid and deepened relative to filtrate collector tube chute. Tubular drain inlet is arranged above the pit fluid, while drain chute is located above that of filtrate collector.

EFFECT: safe operation due to efficient collection and separation of filtrate and bio gas.
