FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to cold cubic deformation of porous materials. Proposed method may be used in producing article from porous materials of artificial and natural origin, and from sintered powder materials. Porous powder billet is impregnated with fluid on filling 60-95% of exposed pores, and placed in female die. Then male die is used to apply external pressure to said billet to uniformly distribute inner pressure caused by reactive strains, over entire inner surface of porous billet exposed pores.
EFFECT: reduced specific pressure, higher quality of finished products and decreased wear of tools.
