FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive industry, particularly, to production of vulcanite-binder abrasive tool. Proposed mass comprises synthetic hard high-molecular rubber - 80-90 wt %, synthetic low-molecular rubber - 10-20 wt %, sulfur - 20-35 wt %, mercaptobenzothiazole - 2.5-3 wt %, fillers - 20-100 wt %, plastifier - 3-8 wt %, and grinding material - 700-800. Note here that sulfur-to-mercaptobenzothiazole ratio makes 6.6-14.
EFFECT: 30%-increase in cutting ability, self-sharpening ability, expanded applications.
