FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in finish de-oxidation and modification of metal with silicocalcium. Finish de-oxidation is carried out with aluminium in form of wire at amount of 0.4-0.6 kg/t of steel in stream at casting metal into moulds. Further, metal is modified with silicocalcium in form of powder at amount of 0.9-1.1 kg/t of steel.
EFFECT: upgraded process properties of electric steel due to decreased non-metallic inclusions in steel.
