FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: magnetic bearing consists of disks (6) with constant magnets secured on internal ferrule (2) and of disks (3) with high temperature super-conductors (4) alternately arranged between disks (6). Disks (3) are installed in a vacuum cavity formed with external ferrule (1) of the bearing, with side circular walls and with pressure tight interconnected vacuum jackets (5) each encasing disk (3). Up to ten disks (3) are equipped with device (7) of their cooling and with device (8) for their transfer in radial and axial directions. Device (8) is fixed on ferrule (1). Also, disks (3), cooling device (7) and device for transfer (8) are united into one or several modules; the modules are not tied rigidly. According to the second version the bearing is additionally equipped with a power case and is made in form of modules installed in the power case; each module consists of disks (3) up to ten; notably, the disks are positioned in a vacuum case wherein ferrule (1) corresponds to an external wall. Further, the bearing is equipped with the cooling devices and module transfer devices in radial and axial directions. Disks (3) are positioned in jackets (5) interconnected pressure tight. The devices for modules transfer are arranged on the power case. The modules are not rigidly interconnected.
EFFECT: increased carrying capacity of bearing at maintaining its specific characteristics.
