FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: superconductive suspension magnetic apparatus for kinetic energy storage device (KNESD) is installed in KNESD frame connected with vacuum pumping system, it includes stator made as a body containing a block of high-temperature superconductive elements (HTSCE) with cooling system, permanent magnets installed at the rotor shaft with a gap in regard to the stator frame. The stator frame is equipped with independent vacuum pumping system, at that exhaust of the above system is connected to cavity of KNESD frame. The stator frame is also equipped with passive gate valves made as bushings fixed at end surfaces of the apparatus body matched to the shaft, at that inner diameter of the bushings exceeds diameter of the rotor shaft per 0.5-1.5 mm, and their axial dimension is 50-100 mm.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased operational efficiency of the vacuum system, and facilitation of testing for independent process testing of the suspension apparatus.
