FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to superconducting magnet bearings used in same fields as standard bearings intended for reduction of friction losses and wear of rubbing surfaces of friction pairs in devices with rotating shaft. The bearing consists of a stator with disks equipped with superconducting elements, of a disk rotor with constant circular magnets and of a stator cooling system containing a pipe cooled with liquid nitrogen. Disks with superconducting elements are arranged in a vacuum tight case and are secured on internal surface of the pipe cooled with liquid nitrogen. Also here is disclosed the method of fabrication of bearing containing the stator with disks equipped with superconducting elements arranged in the vacuum tight case and the rotor in form of a disk with a central partition and circular constant magnets assembled on different sides of the central partition. The circular constant magnets are made in form of separate elements intended to transfer force to the central partition; the said elements are glued both to the central partition and to each other; also their radial motions are limited and they are preliminary magnetised before gluing. At least two-layer coating is applied on surface of the disk with superconducting elements; a compound or glue is used as the first layer, a heat reflecting material is used as the second layer, while the disk with superconducting elements in the vacuum tight case is arranged with a gap wherein an element out of material with low heat conductivity is installed.
EFFECT: increased specific load, reliability and service life of superconducting magnet bearing at simultaneous simplification of design and process of manufacture.
