FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Proposed are snack chips made of dough containing milled buckwheat husks the average particle size whereof corresponds to that allowing at least 20%(weight) of particles to penetrate through a US standard 60 mesh sieve. Additionally proposed is dough and a method for snack chips preparation. The method envisages milled buckwheat husks production and mixture with the dough ingredients. Dough is rolled out till its thickness is 0.015 - 0.25 inch and cut into pieces. The above dough pieces are subjected to thermal treatment till residual moisture content in the finished product is 1-3%(weight).
EFFECT: group of inventions allowing to manufacture a product rich in nutrients.
