FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixers and is intended for preparation of emulsions, suspensions and homogeneous systems (solutions), as well as for intensification of chemical, thermal and diffusion processes that occur at interfaces "gas-fluid", "fluid-fluid". Mixer comprises two coaxial cylindrical tubes, inner being shorter than the outer, single-flight swirling devices fitted in inner tube and tubular annulus, as well as unions to feed components and discharge the mix. Components feed branch pipes arranged on inner tube end face and components discharge branch pipe are arranged on one side of the device, while, on the opposite side, mixer outer tube end face is tightly closed. Swirling device in inner tube and tubular annulus may feature different directions of swirling.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher efficiency of mixing.
