FIELD: mixing devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for mixing two media: “gas-liquid”, “liquid-liquid” to obtain emulsions, suspensions, and homogeneous systems. A vortex hydrodynamic mixer contains a cylindrical body with radial and axial component input pipes, a radial product outlet pipe, a mixing element, wherein the mixing element is a mixing chamber, on opposite sides of which are connected coaxially located, oppositely directed cylindrical vortex chambers-nozzles with tangential inlet and exhaust channels, while inside the cavity of the vortex chamber-nozzles there are protrusions that enhance the oscillatory process in them, and the said chamber-nozzles are made with the ability to feed oppositely swirling, oscillating fluid flows into the mixing chamber, while the opposite coaxial cylindrical vortex chambers-nozzles are made with the ability to regulate the distance between their edges. The protrusions have a spherical profile. The opposite coaxial cylindrical vortex chamber-nozzles are made with a threaded connection to allow the distance between their edges to be adjusted.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of mixing components due to the effects of counter-vortex and oscillatory flows.
