FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forced impregnation of timber by preservative containing vegetable oils. Proposed method comprises forced impregnation of timber by preservative containing vegetable oil. Prior to applying pressure, timber is heated. Note here that part, at least 50°C, of timber is heated. After forced impregnation, impregnation reservoir 1 wherein timber is arranged is evacuated to heat timber surface layers to above water boiling point. Said conditions are maintained in space around timber for, at least, 75 min to remove preservative from timber surface layers. Proposed method allows impregnating even green wood. Note here that preservative does not leaks onto timer surface after impregnation even without adding polymerising or drying agents to preservative. Preservative does not leaks onto surface during use of timber even is it is impregnated by major amount of preservative.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of impregnation.
