FIELD: wood working, namely processes for drying and impregnating wood.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of alternating cycles of blowing wood with heat transfer agent; heating wood till mean temperature 80 - 100°C in its volume; evacuating it; after achieving at drying process predetermined value of wood humidity and temperature provided by evacuation degree of final drying stage at least one time spraying impregnating liquid at soaking for 10 -15 min; then providing rapid connection of cavity of drying-impregnating chamber filled with wood with atmosphere; removing solvent out of impregnated wood by acting upon wood at least during one slow cycle of evacuation for 10 - 15 min; realizing said cycle with use of pipeline providing communication of drying-impregnating chamber with receiver of pipeline whose diameter is by three times less than designed diameter; providing rapid (for 0.1 - 0.5s) communication of drying-impregnating chamber with atmosphere.

EFFECT: enhanced quality of wood impregnation by preset depth at low consumption of impregnating liquid.
