FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for water desalination, treatment of contaminated industrial effluents, etc. Proposed plant comprises initial water feed pump, heater with coil, condenser with coil, heat exchanger with coil communicated with condenser, on one side, and with heater, on the other side, and brine discharge pipeline. Vacuum pump has inlet and outlet cylindrical chambers jointed together by annular clearance formed by widening diffuser and truncated-cone throttle arranged inside diffuser. Vacuum pump inlet chamber communicates with pup pressure line; it has water feed tangential inlet, while outlet chamber communicates with condenser. Besides, there is condensate drain tank communicated with condenser via condensate discharge line and with vacuum pump inlet chamber central part via line. It incorporates also gas discharge gate valve. Heater and condenser are provided with coils. Steam device features design similar to that of vacuum pump wherein inlet chamber central part is communicated with condenser and outlet chamber communicates with heat exchanger.
EFFECT: high efficiency of water desalination.
