FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a model with a detachable head part mounted on tenso-weights by placing the model on the conical part and fixing with a nut, where the said weights are connected to a holder fitted in a pipe, a tenso-station and a control panel. The housing of the model over the tenso-weights is in form of a cup with a sealed container fitted outside. The container consists of two cylinders which are in contact with the housing of the model, fastened by a washer with lock at the butt end of the cup with openings for feeding cooling liquid through a socket piece with valves in the container. Inside the latter, there is an inner cylinder with openings of the lateral surface, and on the outer cylinder there is a nose part for the model and inside the cup, a coupler is fixed by stoppers, where the said coupler has an annular projection which interacts with the support on the tenso-weights.
EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of measuring aerodynamic characteristics of models in a wind tunnel.
