FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of plasma. Proposed method comprises feeding powder of initial stock into plasma generator chamber and extracting target product. Note here that stock is fed directly into transformer-type plasma generator to conduct plasma chemical synthesis at 10-200 Pa, induction discharge frequency of 100-400 kHz and 3000-5000°C. Proposed device comprises plasma generator with initial stock feed assemblies, gas cooling chamber, sleeve filter and target product collector. Note also the used plasma generator represents a transformer-type plasma generator with plasma-forming gas and initial stock feed assemblies arranged on opposite sides of generator chamber and plasma discharge assemblies made in chamber cover that communicated plasma generator with gas cooling chamber.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced powder production costs.
