THERAPEUTIC LOW-FREQUENCY ELECTRICAL STIMULATION TRACKSUIT Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC B64G6/00

Abstract RU 2415054 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to special therapeutic tracksuit clothes and concerns a therapeutic electrical stimulation tracksuit. The tracksuit consists of two electrical myostimulators working simultaneously arranged on the suit by fixation devices and connected with cable headers of the tracksuit to be arranged to the right and to the left on a person's body. The electrical myostimulation signals arrive by the cables arranged in the electrical myostimulation tracksuit to electrodes placed on separate groups of muscles. The electrical myostimulator located on the right is leading and provides synchronisation of all electrical myostimulation signals with adjustable electrical myostimulation signal amplitude, with electrical myostimulation signal amplitudes being stored and transferred to a personal computer. The tracksuit is provided with self-contained power supply by accumulator battery, and in addition has a cable connecting the electrical myostimulators together and providing when actuated, synchronisation of joint operation of the electrical myostimulators. The electrical myostimulator consists of a switching device, a controller, a power amplifier, a switchboard, and the in-built self-contained power supply.

EFFECT: invention provides separate low-frequency electrical myostimulation of the muscles of right and left portions of the back and lower extremities.
