METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING PHYSICAL CONDITION AND ELECTRIC MUSCLE STIMULATION OF HUMAN MUSCLES WHEN THEY PERFORM MOTOR ACTIVITY Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61N1/32 A61B5/389

Abstract RU 2794032 C1

FIELD: conduct sports training.

SUBSTANCE: methods for monitoring the physical condition and training. Invention can be used to conduct sports training using specialized clothing equipped with electrical muscle stimulation. The method includes the use of a system for monitoring the physical condition of a person's muscles when performing motor activity. The system contains a suit with built-in silicone electrodes located at the proximal and distal ends of the muscles of the main human joints, and sensors located on the segments of the arms, legs and torso. For monitoring, the type and intensity of motor activity are preliminarily determined. The characteristics of electric muscle stimulation are selected, including: types, amplitudes and duration of electrical impulses. The levels of own electrical potentials of the muscles and the rate of their growth during the performance of motor activity are determined. Thresholds of increase rates and levels of muscle potential difference are determined and set when motor activity is performed. When registering the fact of surpassing the thresholds of rates and tension levels determined at the previous step, additional energy is transferred to the muscles in form of electrical impulses of the appropriate type, amplitude and duration.

EFFECT: increase of effectiveness of training using the principles of electric muscle stimulation, to increase the safety and convenience of training.
