METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COMBUSTION OF COAL-WATER FUEL Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC F23C10/02

Abstract RU 2415338 C2

FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: combustion method of coal-water fuel in fluidised bed of transit flow of inert disperse material - carrier separated into zones of primary flow of subsequent stages of fuel reaction is implemented at aeration fluidisation of current composition of the bed material with arrangement of superimposition on its transit movement in generalised horizontal direction of circulation movement determining deviation change of flow direction in in-series located preparation zone -downwards, main reaction zone - upwards, afterburning zone - downwards with drain of hot inert material of layer free from residues of combustible component and further transfer of its heat capacity heat to external heat carrier with direction of the latter to the place of its use in compliance with process need, as well as with return of cooled inert material to the beginning of transit flow of fuel mixture representing dry powder-like combustible component of coal-water fuel subject to heat drying with separation of water in the form of vapour, with inert material through reaction volume. Coal-water fuel is mixed with hot inert material poured from the layer, which is supplied in controlled amount, coal-water fuel is thermally separated into easily segregated solid-phase and gaseous component parts. At that, loose fine mixture of inert material with powder-like combustible component of fuel is transported, and water vapour is drained to places of use separately.

EFFECT: as a result of high-efficiency heat exchange not hindered with structural boundaries there provided is complete water evaporation, and separated fuel components reach the technologically specified temperatures.
