FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention makes it possible to increase recovery of energy of engine exhaust gases and heat of combustion products conveyed to heat carrier through cooled walls and liberated at friction of pistons against cylinder walls. Proposed steam generator contains economizer and evaporator in exhaust manifold, feed pump between condenser and economizer, steam superheaters in exhaust branch pipes connected to evaporator and steam accumulator by steam pipelines. Economizer is connected in series with evaporator by water pipeline, and evaporator is connected with steam superheaters by steam pipelines. Water pipeline is furnished with superheater steam temperature regulator depending on steam temperature in accumulator or gas temperature after economizer. Cooling jacket is connected by supply water pipeline with economizer and by outgoing pipeline with steam accumulator on which regulator of water pressure is installed. Said pressure regulator regulates water pressure depending on steam pressure in accumulator or temperature of parts of combustion chamber determining reliability of engine.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of heat recovery.
