FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed hammer crusher relates to machine building and may be used for grinding loose materials, e.g. grain. Mill comprises frame 1 accommodating housing 2 with deck 3 arranged on housing inner surface, vertical rotor 5 with hammers 7 attached to rotor by pins 10, discharge opening 16 made on housing bottom 2, loading filler neck 17 and drive 19. Accelerating plates 8 are arranged on rotor. Guide ring 9 is arranged on the surface of deck 3 at the level of hammers of top plate 6 at the point whereat hammers 7 are jointed with pins 10. Pin and hammer have grooved 11 and 12 accommodating spring-loaded retainer 13. Note here that hammer groove depth is smaller than spring-loaded retainer length while groove depth in hammer pin 10 exceeds spring-loaded retainer length. Hammer pins are rigidly coupled with rotor plates while filler neck 17 represents a cone accommodating conical rings 18.
