FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to nonwoven materials. Proposed method comprises the following stages: (a) thin wires 2 are used to make layer 3; (b) at least, a part of thin wires 2 are jointed together by first jointing method to make first permanent joints there between 4. Note here that joints are made according to preset pattern 6 in providing nonwoven material with anisotropic properties, and (c) thin wires 2 are jointed together by second jointing method to produce second permanent joints 5. Invention covers also nonwoven material 7 with multiple channels 11 formed partially by nonwoven material 1, and device 12 with at least one nonwoven material 1 ro reduce toxicity of off gases.
EFFECT: possibility of commercial production of off gas treatment devices.
