FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: cellular element (1) is fabricated out of at least one non-woven material (2) consisting of metal fibres (3). Metal fibres (3) are made by separation from metal work-piece or by continuous moulding out of melt metal, or by periodic selection of separate portions of melt metal. Layer (4) is formed out of metal fibres (3). Metal fibres (3) are connected to each other by weld. Layer (4) is formed producing non-woven material (2) possessing certain properties. Cellular element (1) is assembled and subjected to high-temperature soldering.
EFFECT: production of cellular element suitable for utilisation and re-processing; high versatility and reliability of process.
