SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and system for monitoring and controlling the operation of a cluster of petroleum boreholes. In the method, a working characteristic of the first industrial machine from multiple industrial machines is measured for mechanised operation of boreholes in a cluster, by means of at least one sensor functionally linked with the first industrial machine; retrospective data characterising the measured working characteristic of the first industrial machine is input into a digital model of the first industrial machine, processed by a processor; the operating mode area associated with the first industrial machine is identified based on the retrospective data, wherein the operating mode area indicates the range of values of the working parameter of the first industrial machine; the recommended operating parameter is determined, wherein the determining includes the use of the operating mode area and the user input data as operating limitations associated with one or more of the multiple industrial machines; a visual representation of the recommended operating parameter is generated in the display area of the user graphic interface; and the operation of at least one industrial machine in the cluster is controlled based on the visual representation of the recommended operating parameter.
EFFECT: increase in the wear resistance of the industrial machine.
