FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: thermostat for storage and transportation of biological material includes heat-insulated housing with cover. Inside the housing there is the chamber insulated from ambient medium and arranged on the compartments heat insulated from each other and adjacent to cascades of thermoelectric battery (TEB). Depending on the required temperature level, the chamber compartments are brought into heat contact with various cascades of TEB which provides the possibility of storage and transportation of several biological substances at one and the same time with various storage temperatures. In stationary conditions the heat is removed from hot ends of TEB with removable liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger located in lower part of the thermostat housing. During transportation the liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger is replaced with filled radiator with molten working medium. Detachable accumulator source of direct electric current is built into the thermostat housing.
EFFECT: design provides the possibility of storage and transportation of several biological substances at one and the same time with various storage temperatures.
