FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of regenerative products and acid gas absorbers based on oxides and hydroxides of alkaline metals applied on porous substrate and intended for charging regenerative cartridges. Proposed method consists in that initial reinforcing material, a mat or a tape, is wetted by solutions of target products. Then, excess solution is sammed and material is dried. Samming and drying are performed by forcing air flow through the product. Samming, forming and drying of plates are carried out on grid with substrate made up of perforated film from hydrophobic material arranged on grid with clearance. Gas pressure difference of 0.01-0.3 MPa is created on the product. Gas is heated to 40-160°C. Holes in substrate features dimension in clear of 0.8-1.5 mm, while the clearance between the grid and substrate makes 0.8-1.5 mm, and clearance between the grid and substrate is ensured by hole edge flanging to height of 0.5-1 mm.

EFFECT: higher permeability of regenerative product and acid gas absorbers.
