FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to rolling mill stand design. Proposed bending device comprises guide blocks 6 arranged in stand lateral posts for two vertically displacing drive bodies 4a, 4b whereon working rolls 1 rest via pads 2 as well as bending cylinders 5 arranged in pairs between drive bodies 4a, 4b. Bending cylinders 5 comprise piston rod 12 acting on body 4b or 4a transmitting pressure and cylinder 10 formed or retained by another body 4a or 4b that transmits pressure. Said bodies 4a, 4b rest on guide block 6 to slide thereon via self-aligning wearable plates 7.
EFFECT: diverting loads from pressure-transmitting bodies to guide block without compressing edges.
