FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas turbine engines, particularly, to production of wide-chord hollow vanes for compressors. Proposed method comprises forming the vane from separate fragments and arranging the part there between to form vane inner space that incorporates inserts from titanium alloy. Vane fragments and aforesaid part are placed into capsule to be sealed and, thereafter, vane fragments are diffusion-welded together using hold isostatic moulding. Said part and capsule are removed after moulding.
EFFECT: simplified process, higher quality of diffusion welding, higher reliability and longer life of hollow vanes.
